The Alerts section is a specialized module within Pirani that allows you to record and manage unusual transactions in a structured way. Its advanced design helps you document all the entities involved, follow up on each case in detail, and link alerts to risk factors according to your organization's methodology and regulations.
With a broader functionality than the old Suspicious Operations module, this module is a powerful tool to monitor your company's operations and strengthen your investigation processes.
Note: This module is available from the Starter plan ⚡
Registro especializado de operaciones inusuales.
Seguimiento operativo completo.
Asociación de operaciones con factores de riesgo.
Cumplimiento normativo mejorado.
Go to the menu on the left side and click the 'Alerts' option. Here, you can create new alerts and review the ones you have already created. When you click on 'Create alert,' a pop-up window will open with two main sections:
General information. In this section, you should fill in the primary data of the operation you will report:
- Report name: what is the name of the operation?
- Report detection means you will get a list of options based on what the UIA indicates.
- Transaction Value: determines the amount of the transaction being reported.
- Currency: determines the currency of the amount being reported.
- Transaction types: Select whether the transaction is domestic or international.
- Responsible: determines who will be responsible for this operation; as this is confidential information, in this module, we will not have groups responsible for the records, but only one person can be in charge of each suspicious operation.
- Period analyzed: select the dates from and until it will be analyzed.
- Description of events: Details what the report of this operation consists of.
- Attach evidence: You will have the option to attach evidence that will help strengthen the report.
In this section, you can associate the clients, counterparties, and users involved in the operation.
Clients: Persons or entities that have a commercial contract with the organization.
Counterparty: Entities with a contract other than a commercial one; these may be suppliers, partners, or investors, among others.
User: A person involved in the operation but who does not have a direct link.
To relate the entities, click the “Associate” option; the three association options will be displayed.
After choosing the entity you wish to associate, the tool will display the entities you have previously created in the clients and counterparties section. To select the entity you wish to associate, click on the '+' icon on the right side of the entity name.
You also have the option to add new clients and counterparties; by doing so, the tool will take you to that section, saving the information of the alert being created.
⚡ 'Users' must be created directly in this section.
Once you have associated, click on 'Back'. Then, you will be able to specify the type of relationship of each entity with the alert, which can be 'main' or 'associated.'
Finally, click on the 'Create' button, and you will be able to monitor the alerts in the corresponding module.
By selecting the customer, you can access all the detailed information about the customer and the associated entities.
You can associate the alert with the tool's processes, risks, controls, and risk factors. To do so, go to the corresponding section and click the 'Associate' button. You will find the records you can link to the alert; click the '+' icon to complete the association.
You can filter your alerts by:
Record date: when the suspicious operation was reported in the tool.
The type of alert: whether it is unusual or suspicious.
Quick search: filter by name or code.
